You know what’s frustrating? When you buy a bunch of wonderful-smelling cilantro or parsley or mint and your recipe only calls for a few leaves and you wonder what to do with all that cilantro since if you put it in the fridge it just goes limp and sad so fast.

To make fresh herbs last a bit longer, treat them like flowers: trim the ends of the stems and place in vases or glasses. Change the water daily. It’ll buy you a little time…

You can also chop up your herb into tiny tiny bits and seal it in a Ziplock and keep it in the fridge or the freezer.
