Hello from sunny Cairo, where I’m based for a short while as I hunt down old recipes, magazines and cookbooks. I haven’t cooked a lot of new things (yet) but I have been busy: check out the blog’s new recipe index, which lists all my recipes in alphabetical order for easier browsing, and a newly updated page about resources for thinking about food. This page includes everything from podcasts to blogs to tools that map flavors and ingredients in innovative ways. Both of these pages can be accessed by clicking the square at the top right corner of the blog’s main page.
